Gutter Installation & Repair in Hurst, TX
Keep roof runoff moving to a useful outlet. Gutter repair and installation for Hurst properties, with the fascia and roof edge considered together.
Carry runoff from the Hurst roof to a planned outlet
Water spilling over a gutter can come from a blockage, a low spot, an undersized outlet or a section that has pulled away. A bigger gutter is not automatically the answer. The first job is to understand where the intended path for runoff has broken down.
We look at the gutter run, joints, attachment and downspout along with the roof edge above them. If water slips behind the gutter, the drip-edge connection or damaged fascia may need attention before a new gutter goes up.
Our gutter work can be planned with a roof repair or replacement, or discussed on its own. Tell us where you see overflow, dripping or separation. A free roof inspection can help establish how the roofing and drainage details meet.

Find why the gutter spills or pulls away
Similar symptoms can come from different faults. The work should follow the cause of the spill or movement.

Look at the roof edge before hanging new gutters
A gutter depends on what it is attached to. New metal on deteriorated wood can repeat the same sagging and leakage.
Sound support
We assess the fascia and attachment points before hanging or resetting a run. Damaged wood needs an agreed repair, with related trim work identified. Covering decay with a new gutter does not restore fastening strength.
A continuous roof-edge path
The edge metal, covering and gutter position should send runoff into the channel. This is particularly useful to settle during reroofing, when the edge detail is accessible. Amerimax’s installation guide illustrates the relationship between fascia, pitch, attachment and outlets.
An outlet that makes sense on the ground
Downspouts should carry collected water to an appropriate discharge point without creating an avoidable obstacle at a doorway or path. Buried drainage, grading and other site drainage work are separate unless included. Gutter guards can reduce some debris entry, but they do not remove the need to maintain the system.
Plan removal, installation and water flow
The gutter and downspout route is planned before pieces are fastened in place. That keeps the roof edge, building access and discharge point in the same discussion.

Assess the roof edge and existing run
Identify leaks, poor fall, damaged support and the outlet locations. Discuss doors, walkways and any access that needs to remain open during the work.

Repair support and install the run
Remove or retain sections according to their condition, repair included fascia damage and position the gutter with the specified fall and hanger arrangement. Corners and joints need the correct connection for the selected system.

Finish the outlets and check flow
Connect the downspouts and evaluate how water leaves the system. Resolve obvious obstructions and keep the agreed discharge route clear. A new gutter does not by itself redesign underground drainage or correct grading around the property.
Gutter installation and repair FAQs
Can a leaking gutter be repaired?
Yes, when the leak is limited and the gutter and support remain sound. A joint repair, corrected hanger or reset section can be useful. Widespread corrosion, distortion or failing support may make replacement more practical.
Why does water run behind the gutter?
Runoff may be missing the channel because of gutter position, an incomplete drip-edge connection or deterioration behind it. We inspect those relationships instead of assuming the visible gutter joint is the only problem.
Do gutter guards eliminate maintenance?
No. Debris can still collect on top of a guard or at openings, and outlets still need to work. The guard should suit the roof and gutter system and allow a practical maintenance approach.
Should gutters be replaced with the roof?
Not automatically. Sound gutters can sometimes remain, while damaged runs or an incompatible roof-edge detail need work. Planning both together helps identify protection, temporary removal and any edge adjustments before the roof is finished.
